AIRAID AIR-251-252 Performance Air Intake System

The AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) Air Intake is designed to enhance your engine's performance by allowing it to draw in larger amounts of cooler air. This results in noticeable increases in horsepower and torque. The system maintains the original air filter location while incorporating a generously sized open-element air inlet. This inlet is shielded by Cold Air Dam panels that ensure a consistent flow of cooler outside air reaches your engine.

These panels are strategically mounted in the factory air box position and utilize existing cold air inlet ducts, while also adding extra passages for cold air to reach the filter. One of the standout features is the way the panels seal against the underside of the hood using blade-style weather stripping, effectively isolating the filter from the heat of the engine compartment.

The CAD system comes with a low-restriction intake tube and a 360-degree conical AIRAID premium air filter. This filter is not only washable and reusable, but it also offers superior filtration compared to traditional paper filters. Installation is straightforward and can be completed with common hand tools, making it accessible for DIY enthusiasts.
