This system showcases the "Original" Baer 2-piston, pad guided caliper (PGC), perfectly paired with a 13-inch, one-piece slotted and drilled, zinc-plated integral hub rotor. The PGC caliper is finished in a vibrant red powder coat, complete with a sleek black logo. It also comes equipped with dust and weather seals and utilizes the popular D412 pad type for reliable performance.
Included in the package are spindles (not installed), premium bearings with pre-installed races, dust caps, mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and all the necessary hardware, ensuring a smooth and straightforward assembly process. The 13-inch "Classic" system is designed to fit most 17-inch or larger wheels.
Important: This system is tailored for vehicles featuring a 15/16-inch master cylinder and the appropriate pedal ratio. If you're working with manual brake setups, a 7/8-inch master cylinder can be used, making it easier to apply the brakes. Keep in mind that any master cylinder larger than 15/16 inches will require excessive pedal input to achieve the correct line pressure for your brake system.
This system is compatible with 1978-88 GM G-Body Vehicles, including the Chevy El Camino, Malibu & Monte Carlo, Buick Regal & Grand National, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Pontiac Grand Prix.
