This setup features the "Original" Baer 2-piston, pad guided caliper (PGC) mounted on a sleek 13-inch, one-piece slot, drill, and zinc-plated integral hub rotor. The PGC caliper boasts a vibrant red powder-coated finish adorned with a stylish black logo, complete with dust and weather seals. Plus, it utilizes the popular D412 pad type for reliable stopping power.
What’s included? You’ll find spindles (not installed), premium bearings with races pre-installed, dust caps, mounting brackets, stainless braided hoses, and all the necessary hardware for a smooth assembly process. This 13-inch "Classic" system fits most wheels that are 17 inches or larger.
Heads up! This system is designed for vehicles equipped with a 15/16-inch master cylinder and the right pedal ratio. If you have a manual brake setup, a 7/8-inch master cylinder can make it easier to apply the brakes. Just keep in mind that any master cylinder larger than 15/16 inches may require too much pedal input to generate the right line pressure for your brake system.
This setup is compatible with 1971-76 GM Full Size Passenger Cars, including B-Body models like the Chevy Caprice, Impala, Buick Lesabre, Oldsmobile Delta 88, and Pontiac Bonneville, Catalina, and Grandville.
