However, our cold-resistant harnesses also come with a unique thermoplastic elastomer casing. The casing is made to be soft enough that it will not stiffen in the cold, yet durable enough to provide good protection for the wires within. The harness is rated to remain flexible in temperatures as low as -40F, allowing you to easily plug in and tow no matter what the season of the year and no matter how far north the road takes you. CURT cold-weather wiring harnesses quickly splice into your existing trailer wiring, using a pigtail end with standard color-coded wires.
