Product Description

Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Camshaft #2262

Perfect Fit for Your Engine

If you’re looking to give your 454-502 V8 Gen VI engine (1996 and later) a serious boost, the Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Camshaft #2262 is just what you need. This camshaft is engineered to deliver impressive torque from the low-end all the way to the mid-range, making it an excellent choice for both performance enthusiasts and everyday drivers.

Smooth Performance for Daily Drivers

The Rollin' Thunder camshafts are designed to work seamlessly with Performer manifolds, catering to vehicles that operate smoothly from off-idle to 5500 RPM. Whether you’re driving a truck, van, RV, or a rugged 4x4, you can expect a noticeable boost in throttle response and torque.

Torque Graphs and Specifications

In the manifold section, you’ll find detailed torque graphs showcasing the power gains achieved with Performer manifolds and Performer-Plus cams. Each camshaft comes complete with flat tappet lifters (except for those intended for stock roller lifters), assembly lube, and easy-to-follow instructions.

Impressive Power Output

When paired with the Victor Jr. intake manifold #2902 and Victor Jr. 24 Degree cylinder heads #77485 on a GM ZZ-502 short block, this camshaft produced a remarkable 611 HP and 573 Ft Lbs of torque. Just keep in mind that it’s not suitable for 1965-66 Big Block Chevys that have a grooved rear cam journal.

Camshaft Specifications

  • Intake Duration: 236 Degrees
  • Exhaust Duration: 245 Degrees
  • Intake Lift: .625"
  • Exhaust Lift: .639"
  • Lobe Separation: 112 Degrees
  • Intake Center Line: 109 Degrees
  • Vacuum: 10"

Installation Notes

For the best results, pair this camshaft with a high stall torque converter and use stock ratio rocker arms only. Get ready to feel the difference in your ride!
