The V3 Pulsar takes everything you loved about the original Pulsar for L5P and amps it up with an entirely new performance strategy. This latest version smartly tweaks four key components to safely boost your power: injection pulse width, injection timing, fuel rail pressure, and airflow. And we've made some exciting updates to our shift strategy for smoother gear changes all around. With the V3, you can expect a whopping 50% increase in power compared to its predecessor. The V3 Pulsar: the best just got even better!
This product is all about combining powerful tuning with safety features, effortless installation, and direct control over your driving experience. The new PN 22402 is designed for 2017-2019 L5P Duramax, while the PN 22401 fits the 2020-2023 models. These are the most advanced performance options available in the L5P aftermarket. The 2017+ L5P diesel trucks from GM are already impressive right off the lot, but the V3 Pulsar transforms the driving experience, optimizing both performance and drivability in every situation. Whether you're towing or just cruising around town, the Pulsar instantly enhances your performance and throttle response. Plus, it includes handy adjustment features that let you adapt to any modifications you've made to your truck. You can calibrate your speedometer for tire and gear changes, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, adjust your TPMS settings for your new wheels, or even tweak your speed limiter. After you install the Pulsar, you'll be left wondering why you didn't make the switch sooner!
We took the Pulsar to the track to showcase the impressive gains you can achieve in a pure performance setting. We ran multiple tests, both stock and on level 5 of the Pulsar, and the results were nothing short of amazing! We recorded an average gain of nearly three-quarters of a second in the quarter-mile, all thanks to the Pulsar tune.

It's worth noting that if you change the ring and pinion gears in late model GM trucks, the factory cruise control will be disabled. While the Pulsar allows you to recalibrate the speedometer for that gear change, it won't reactivate the cruise control system. GM has integrated this feature into the engine calibration files, which means full ECM tuning is needed to enable cruise control again.
