When you’re after pure performance without any distractions, the DV+ T9360 is your go-to choice!
This mod is designed to give you a 30% quicker boost while keeping everything straightforward. By maintaining factory ECU control and recirculating the vented air, the DV+ T9360 brings you a host of benefits:
The T9360 serves as a direct factory replacement for the pneumatic diaphragm type BPV (Bypass Valve) found in the Ford Focus RS. If you’re looking for performance without the noise, this is the solution!
With GFB's TMS technology, you can expect your engine to hit peak boost up to 30% faster than with a standard diverter valve during gear shifts. This means a more responsive drive that you’ll truly appreciate.
The factory BPV has a few key limitations in both its construction and operation. For starters, tuned engines that run high boost generate a lot of heat in the charge air. Since the BPV is positioned right on the compressor, it faces some of the hottest air, which can cause the factory diaphragm to rupture. If this goes unnoticed, it could lead to turbo damage as the ECU attempts to compensate for the lost boost pressure by ramping up turbo speed.
Another issue is that the factory BPV isn’t designed for optimal throttle response. Due to its soft spring and the solenoid valve connected to the vacuum hose, it can only operate in two states: fully open or fully closed. This lack of progressive operation means that throttle response can suffer when the valve vents more air than necessary, especially when you’re not fully lifting off the throttle.
The T9360 addresses these challenges with its robust metal and silicone construction, ensuring that the DV+ can endure even the harshest conditions for a lifetime. When it comes to performance, the DV+ features a carefully selected spring rate and an adjustable spring preload, allowing it to operate progressively. This results in sharper throttle response and a significant reduction in the time it takes to reach peak boost during gear shifts—up to 30% faster!
This improvement is especially noticeable when you’re modulating the throttle to maintain balance while cornering.
