Can you believe it? It's been 20 years since the world's first dual outlet blow-off valve made its debut! Let's take a little trip back to 1998—a time before smartphones, social media, and even Google. Back then, our founding engineer, John Adrian, was frustrated with his new WRX stalling due to an atmosphere-venting BOV. Tired of the hassle, he decided that the world needed a dual port BOV, and that’s how the Hybrid was born!

A Game-Changer in Performance

Known affectionately as the "Hybrid," this groundbreaking product quickly became the flagship model for Go Fast Bits. What makes it so special? The two venting ports are cleverly designed so that the recirculation port opens before the atmospheric port. This unique feature helps prevent backfiring and stalling in cars equipped with a MAF sensor, all while still delivering that iconic blow-off sound when you push your car to its limits.

Setting the Standard

This innovative design was so effective that it set the standard for nearly every other BOV brand out there. The Hybrid paved the way for GFB's next big thing—the venting bias adjustable BOV, now known as the Respons TMS, followed by the electronically adjustable Deceptor Pro.

Welcome Back, Hybrid!

After a bit of a hiatus, the Hybrid is returning to the market to celebrate its 20th anniversary! It's a fitting tribute to one of the most influential BOVs in the turbo world. To top it off, the new Hybrid valve was honored with a Global Media Award at the 2017 SEMA show, recognized from a pool of 3,000 entries by a panel of international judges.
