The pMaxKote bearings, also known as XPC bearings, are tri-metal performance bearings with a fourth layer of polymer. The nano-composite coating improves wear resistance and protects bearings during periods of marginal lubrication. These bearings contain ceramic nano-composite particles and solid lubricant. What makes the pMaxKote polymer version stand out is the fact that all the processes are done in-house at King Engine Bearings. From raw material, to polymer coating and sorting, everything is made sure these bearings are the most accurate and fitting product at hand, with no added thickness, and with the most consistent tolerance in a single set.
