Welditched the plastic and rubber combination that made up the original equipment and replaced them with mandrel-bent aluminum and 5-layer, fiber-embedded silicone couplers. Our piping also increases the size of both the hot and cold-sides of the piping system from 42mm to 55mm, equating in a 30 percent increase in size. We also took the liberty of reducing the angles of the bends in the piping, giving the charged air a more direct flow through the intercooling system and improving the flow. Our performance intercooler kit adds up to 4 hp and 8 ft-lbs of torque on the stock tuning, with the potential to boost that power gain to 11 hp and 9 ft-lbs of torque with a tune.
