This new XDR Off-Road® "blow-off" valve kit is designed for all 2017-2019 Can Am Maverick X3 Turbo R (172HP) models with an intercooler. The factory configuration does not include a diverter or blow off system, and this easy to install kit integrates an external blow-off valve which vents the excess boost pressure into the atmosphere. This eliminates compressor surge and the related strain on the turbocharger, and also creates that turbo swoosh sound that has become very popular in performance circles. The pressure release point is adjustable via a knob on the top so you can either extend the swoosh sound, or you can tune it to be a quick short burst of air. The system includes everything needed, including a new high quality reinforced silicone intake tube, a black CNC machined billet aluminum valve, and all the necessary hardware. The piston style valve can be easily disassembled for maintenance and cleaning. To prevent mud, dirt, and debris from entering the exhaust port, a small pre-oiled and serviceable Delta Force filter is included for the outlet port. The kit Includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for an easy at home installation. Note: Only fits Maverick X3 high-output (172HP) R models that have an intercooler.
